Subtle Body Anatomy & Inner Alchemy

This class is excellent for beginners who are curious about the fact that we are energetic beings having a physical experience. For those who are willing to continue in subsequent classes, this is a path of progressive instruction into advanced inner alchemy. The course utilizes techniques found in books written by Mantak Chia, including "Taoist Cosmic Healing" and "The Taoist Soul Body: Lesser Kan & Li" as well as "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy & Immortality" by Lu K’Uan Yu.

Instruction is further supported by our Meditation for Silence and Stillness classes. As you may know, our energy goes where our attention goes. Therefore, the more focused one’s attention, the more focused and intense their energy will be wherever set. It is helpful to cultivate a silent mind, and this is the goal of the meditation class.

The class is two to two and one half hours long. There is a review of the structures and pathways which make up our energetic configuration. These include Chakras, Tan Tien, and Acupuncture Channels. The anatomy of a Kundalini Awakening is outlined, as well as the MicroCosmic Orbit. Students are given a guided activity designed to provide a personal experience of one’s own living Chi moving. Students are also given meditation instruction to do for ongoing practice.
