WILLIAM R. LONG, M. Div., Ph. D., J. D.

Dr. Long is an author, theological expert, legal scholar and business consultant living in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to his own writing, he counsels writers on formulating their ideas and consults with individuals and boards of directors to enable superior levels of personal and company performance. His published material is in six or more scholarly areas: religion (including Biblical studies), history, law, words, education and childhood disabilities, including autism. His 2001 book on the history of Oregon’s death penalty, A Tortured History: The Story of Capital Punishment in Oregon won an award. To date he has written or edited 11 books and more than 4100 essays (equivalent of 62 books of 200 pages).
